The Law Offices of Edwin B. Zaslow, P.L., practices primarily in the area of wills, trusts and estates. We also handle tax matters, guardianship and elder law, Medicaid planning, business and corporate law, real estate transactions, and litigation related to these areas. Mr. Zaslow is a member-agent for Attorneys Title Insurance Fund, Inc.

We use sophisticated estate planning techniques to reduce or eliminate, where possible, the tax and administrative expenses your heirs and beneficiaries will incur at your death. However, we realize that taxes and expenses are not the only important factors to consider when making planning recommendations to our clients.
Edwin B. Zaslow, Esq., is Board Certified in Wills, Trusts, and Estates by The Florida Bar Board of Legal Specialization and Education. Mr. Zaslow first attained his Board Certification in 1992. To become Board Certified, an attorney is required to meet rigorous standards that have been established in each area of legal specialization. For the Wills, Trusts and Estates area, an attorney must have been a practicing attorney for at least five years, and must have had substantial involvement in this practice area during the preceding five years. To maintain his certification, Mr. Zaslow is required to devote no less than 40% of his practice to wills, trusts, and estates. Besides peer review and additional educational requirements, Mr. Zaslow passed a written examination testing his knowledge, skill and proficiency in estate planning, postmortem planning, planning for incapacity, administration of estates and trusts, fiduciary and transfer taxation, substantive and procedural aspects of probate and trust law, estates and trust litigation, homestead law, and ethical considerations.
As of June, 2003, out of over 70,000 attorneys licensed to practice law in Florida, only 320 attorneys were Board Certified in Wills, Trusts, and Estates.
Mr. Zaslow has been a practicing attorney since 1976. He received his B.A. degree from The Ohio State University in 1973, his law degree, J.D., cum laude, from the University of Miami School of Law, in 1976. Mr. Zaslow also received a Master in Laws in Taxation degree, LLM, from the University of Miami School of Law, in 1987.
